Saboodana, Arbi and potato vadas

2 small boiled potatoes
5-6 arbi boiled (if you are eating arbi during vrat)
½ cup saboodana soaked for six hours
1 green chili chopped
½ teaspoon ground cumin
Sindhav salt
A pinch of black pepper if needed

Method of preparation:

Mash the potatoes and arbi; add saboodana, ground cumin, sindhav salt, black pepper.
Make small balls and set aside.
Heat oil in a kadhai and deep-fry the Vadas.
Serve hot.

PS: This can be made using only boiled potatoes and saboodana also. Fry them in slow -medium heat to make them crispy.

Sweet Potato Halva

2-3 sweet potatoes peeled, washed and grated
1-cup sugar
1-tablespoon ghee
A pinch of ground cinnamon
A pinch of ground cardamom
½ cup water

Method of preparation:

Wash the sweet potatoes, peel and grate them. In a pan add ghee and fry the grated sweet potatoes, then add sugar cardamom, now add water and cover, once the sweet potatoes are cooked sprinkle cinnamon on top and serve hot with roasted peanuts.

PS: Add more water if required.
