Ragi pancakes Featured

Ingredients:

  • ½- Cup ragi flour(finger millet or nachani flour)
  • 1/2-Cup rice flour
  • 1-finely chopped onion
  • Chopped coriander
  • 1-grated carrot
  • 1-chopped green chili
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt (as desired)
  • Red chili powder (as desired)
  • Water for making the dough.
  • Oil for frying the pancakes,

Method of preparation:


Mix all the ingredients and make it consistency of dosa batter.
Now heat a pan and add a few drops of oil spread the batter like dosa and cook both sides using a few drops of oil in either side until nice and brown.
Serve hot with coriander chutney.

Tips

Make a puree of 4 tomatoes. Soak some rice for 30 minutes and grind it coarsely. Add this to the pureed tomatoes. Apply this mixture all over the body and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Bathe with warm water; this is a good scrub recipe for oily skin.
