I am suffering from dry form of eczema. Tried various doctors, but it keeps on relapsing. What should I do to control this disease?

Ans: Hello ,

Eczema is a chronic skin disorder however, the causes of eczema have not been fully determined. Allergy, stress, irritants and genetic factors are considered to be associated with the development of eczema. Tendency to have such skin disorder runs in families. In most cases, person having eczema may have family history eczema or other allergic conditions including asthma or hay fever. However, the link between these conditions has been not cleared yet.

The conventional treatment of eczema includes application of topical corticosteroids that reduces inflammation and itchiness. Some may also need antihistamines to reduce itching. It is very important to note that allopathic medicines have not been effective in large number of patients. In such case, it would be worthwhile to consult an experienced homoeopath. Many patient suffering from eczema have been successfully recovered with homoeopathy.

Many people downplay the importance of STRESS as a causative factor. It is known for causing or aggravating the symptoms of eczema. Therefore, it is advisable to learn techniques to manage stress that is an integral component of today’s fast life.

Some tips to control the symptoms of eczema:

  • Keep the skin moist by using suitable moisturiser (without any fragrance)
  • Try to apply moisturiser within three minutes after bathing to enhance its effect
  • Wear 100 percent cotton cloths or soft fabrics, also avoid rough fabrics and tight clothing
  • Bath or shower with lukewarm water and use a non- soap cleanser or hypo allergic  soap, cleanser
  • Do not rub skin to dry instead pat gently with a soft towel
  • Try to avoid rapid changes of temperature and activities that increases sweat
  • Most importantly reduce daily stress- learn yoga – tai chi
  • Know about the triggers and how to avoid them.

With eczema always start with diet. Go to HealingNaturallyByBee.com. Her site deals with people that have candida. But her way of eating has helped all kinds of medical problems. Liver cleanses will also help. For the best topical help - ozonated olive oil. healthnutu@yahoo.com

I suggest not to be fooled by anti-oxidant, fancy sounding ingredients or plant parts. Bad drugs, male enhancement and weight loss like Fen Fen are rapidly increasing as the combinations may be dangerous as the FDA does not test supplements. When you cut an apple and leave it on the sink it turns brown like your face ages with electrons being ripped away from your face and the quickness is measurable. When you drizzle lemon or lime on the apple which is alkaline (when lemon goes through the body the remnants are alkaline ash) it will extend the time it takes to turn brown. Everyone makes statements about anti-oxidants as there is no definition. Most agree that ORP the potential to reduce oxidation (ORP backward) and it can easily be measured with a $100 machine that measures salt water aquarium waters. Soda is the worst oxidation at +400. Gatorade and energy is next averaging +380, then tap water at +360 and bottled water +280 and up. Good Vodka is +220. Things that are truly anti-aging are vitamin C and -50 and Green Tea at -85 and many are between 0 and -50. Fruits fall in this area and are just barely anti-oxidants compared to Cod Liver Oil which is at -200 and the only higher is Kangen water which depending on the water it is made from it is between 3 to 12 times more anti-oxidant than Green Tea. Typically Kangen is between -600 to -800. Companies that are not really antioxidant use a measurement by other means that are NOT easily measurable so it can’t be compared. For information on products I suggest EWG.org then chose what you want to know about. I won’t take anything in my body that does NOT have no country sponsoring like Japan, groups of 6,500 doctors, 200 Nobel winners for the environment, 3 ISO awards for manufacturing like Kangen.

We at The Dolly Lammy Breathing Company believe that conscious diaphragmatic breathing is one of the major keys in helping reduce and deal with stress one breath at a time.
Check out our video on how "Bob" deals with stress in the workplace. Cheers.

Bear Grylls (of "Man vs. Wild" fame) had Eczema until he was 19 and his "Mum"
started him on "fruits and veggies in a capsule". Go to my site, click on Bear's
picture and hear him yourself. Would love to give you more education.

Eczema is an inflammatory condition. Stress has a direct link with inflammation as does weight gain and lack of physical activity. It is not uncommon to find low zinc and omega 3 levels and elevated omega 6 levels in eczema patients. It s also often associated with gut dysbiosis which is where a lot of the bodies inflammation arises. Treat the inflammation and the cause of the problem not the skin

Hello, Eczema has Inflammation at its base cause. A great all-natural anti-inflammatory product that can help reduce and ease the suffering that eczema can cause is Nopalea (propnounced No-Pah-Lay-Ah).

Nopalea comes from the fruit of the Nopal Cactus grown in the Sonoran Desert of Mexico and Arizona, USA.

You can check out the effects of Inflammation and the benefits that Nopalea can bring at http://www.secretkilleralert.com , PLUS you can see first hand what Nopalea can do for someone with a skin condition at http://afternopalea.byethost12.com/after . Here you'll see what taking Nopalea orally as well as topically can do. It is amazing what dapping a little onto the affected areas can do to attack the Inflammation from the outside while attacking it from the inside by drinking your Nopalea.
