Vitamin deficiency can lead to obesity in children

Many such studies have  shown the association of various vitamin deficiencies with different diseases.


The vitamins are organic chemical compound that our body required in certain quantity to perform various functions well and deficiency of them could lead to diseases. Menopause-is not a disease, it is just a natural transient phase of women’s life and more than 70% women experience it with different symptoms. With appropriate lifestyle changes it will pass away easily.

menopause-signsFew months back on the woman’s day, I was invited as a speaker by Lion’s club ladies wing. I was in dilemma  about the topic for speech, then I met a middle aged lady, slightly plump with a mix of depressed and anxious look, limping due to knee pain and wiping perspiration in 22degree temperature!!!. I was shocked and surprised to see the changes in a lady whom I know, some years ago as an active, zealous lady who used to live life with zest... oh... I realized she must be passing from the transient phase of life –“Menopause”.  And I got the topic; today I will share information on Menopause.

Menopause-is not a disease, it is just a natural transient phase of women’s life and more than 70% women experience it with different symptoms.  As the women reaches the age of 40 and above, the production of female hormones (estrogen and progesterone) by ovaries decreases gradually. This gradual decline in the functioning of the ovaries, one day leads to permanent cessation of menstrual cycle-MENOPAUSE

The word stamina represents endurance or the power to withstand hardship or stress. In todays fast life, running around and catching up with all the, day-to-day activities often requires a lot of stamina-strength, it helps you to stand against the long periods of stress, however, with age it tends to decrease. It becomes important to maintain stamina through healthy habits. Usually inactivity kicks in once we become adults; we do not run around play football anymore, that’s when we tend to become lazy. As we age our stamina goes on decreasing. Stamina is needed to cope up with the rigors and challenges of physical activity. Lack of stamina or low stamina can cause fatigue, reduces energy levels, will make you fall asleep sometimes nausea, uneasiness, and an urge to stop. We are now living a fast paced lifestyle where, it has become increasingly difficult to focus on our body; we compete with everyone and sometimes even with ourselves to perform better and better at work and at home.

Great amount of endurance or stamina is required in order to excel in all the activities we continuously perform.
