7 Self-Help ways to Avoid Back Pain

Here are some self- help tips that will help to prevent back pain.

1.     Men, avoid sitting on your wallet. Take your wallet out of your back pocket when you sit as this can alter your posture and could be a reason for chronic backache.


2.     Use caution while lifting objects, improper movement or suddenly lifting can strain or sprain the ligaments or muscles of back.


3.     Keep skinny jeans in the drawer, avoid wearing them too often. Experts suggest that too tight jeans affect the posture and your body movements as well.  If you wear super tight low rise jeans your body movements is restricted especially while you are sitting, bending over or walking.

4.     NO to high heels- wearing high heels could be a reason of backache for many women.  Health experts suggest that heels more than 1 inch can affect the alignment of body and also alter the normal posture leading to back pain.

5.     Adjust your sleeping position. Your usual sleep position — along with other factors, including your weight and your sex — can strain your back and contribute to development of back pain, reports mayo clinic.To prevent that problem, place a pillow between your knees and thighs.

6.     Exercise to strengthen your back. Regular just 15 minutes of back exercises three times a week, will keep your back healthy and flexible.

7.     Take a break. People sitting whole day in front of computer must take break every half or one hourly and walk around to avoid stiffness and back pain.
